I like to draw movie posters. Often imaginary ones but also for those things that already exists. Such as this one for La Jetée. I knew I had to draw this when I saw the sequence in the museum and Hélène Chatelain in that sweater…

Work sketch for the David Levinthal epigona. Next step is to do this with blood (something liquid and dark), guts (noodles) and snow (flour) in better and more controlled light.
I’ll do a proper scan of the two encircled (“encircle me I need to be / taken down”) images next week as they’re still dripping and wet — I assume. They hang to dry anyways in the darkroom at the U. They do look a lot better than the ones here — small originals + a crappy scanner seldom helps anyone.
Darkrooms are fun. Need to get one of my own.
