Now imagine someone is sitting between them. Someone is. I shan’t tell you who. Okay, it’s me. 

This was a really fun day. I applied eyeliner on the subway and lost an earring while walking to the club; it helped me get into character, as did this. On set we drank Parklifes (Parklives?) until we felt like good actors. Ted Leo played a few tunes for us in between shots. Everyone was super nice! And Christine took some behind-the-scenes photos. So basically everything about this is the best. TAKE A WHISPERING CLASS.

During on of her gigs I was soaked. After one or two songs the rain started to pour, and when I say pour I mean it. It was cold, I shivered and was wet in every fold and crevice. I could have taken a few steps aside, there were a roof about three metres away. But no. I was mesmerised and stubborn but eventually I had to use the umbrella. (Yeah, I got one of those too and could have avoided the water even where I stood. Stupidity is a way of life. As is good music.)

1969. Of course. Space, it can’t be the final frontier. It’s just there, space, lots of space. Nothingness. Dust. It’s a bit like a sea, it’s what on the other side that’s important. The islands, the shores. I am admittedly a space romantic, but sitting back and not do anything to explore and push technology needed further isn’t a good option. It’s expensive, yeah, there are places that need the money more, granted, but something isn’t all or nothing. There must be a balance. We went to the Moon in a glorified calculator — technology or money alone isn’t the answer, it’s the will and the brain to overcome obstacles. Shit, I wish I was smarter.
