It's pretty easy. Or you could use this to say something, I don't bite unless asked to.

There are people who, when they do re-designs of pop cultural phenomenons, always must update. Over on cghub they had this Star Wars redesign drawing jam and while cool and all, someone turned Luke into K-Pop Idol. The seventies was never the problem with Star Wars — in fact, there should be more of that in it. So here’s a Han Solo with groovy sideburns.

Vad jag vill ha i födelsedagspresent!

tkj:

På lördag fyller jag 34 år. Nu har jag hittat en födelsedagspresent som heter duga! CoolStuff har nämligen en morgonrock á la Jedi! Ni har min adress!

Så jävla cool!

A Jedi robe? Best thing to wear while out of bed, I need this.

Star Wars
My take on the original Star Wars Trilogy. Officially-licensed, limited edition 24x36” screen-printed posters available through Mondo Tees on Monday 20th December. A small number of signed artist-proofs will be available from me on Wednesday 23rd December.

I pronounce Olly Moss: KING of movie posters!

And probably way out of my price range. But hot damn, I want these.

The Dagobah Connection by Peter de Seve

Art fit for a king (metaphorically as kings and their kins are stupid in real life.)

The Entire Star Wars Trilogy in Two Minutes

This is a wonderful re-imagining of the Star Wars Trilogy, using paper. Love everything about this: the art, the music. It’s perfect. :)

While I don’t get how streaming video companies think it’s a good idea with popup ads, I loved this re-imagining. Papervision 2D is so much better than silly stuff like 3D. And the eyes don’t hurt!

Master Yoda records his voice for the TomTom GPS system.

Actually, this is how I give directions in real life. Together with cryptic pointing that may or may not be correct.

Instead of doing other things, I remodelled the R2 drawing into a new, better model. It has a socket to plug in stuff like a lava lamp or a water boiler. This R2 can make tea!

Shiny? Yeah, but kind of old-looking. Used robots are the best.

More old toys I found. One of the first I got. (The very first was Darth Vader.)

A fantastic series of photos: Legos on Hoth. The photographer gives a full description of how they took the photos, which involve submerging the figs in water, then sprinkling plaster of paris for the snow. Brilliant!

I should really post this to the quality Lego tumblr, but this is just too fantastic not to share with more people. Anyone want to do something with cameras and Lego and… Whatever? Got tea and cookies.
