It's pretty easy. Or you could use this to say something, I don't bite unless asked to.
Started out as some elf type of person with pointy ears and the whole… face and then it turned out to be Max. (Which meant the ears had to go!)
Today’s quick portrait cartoon practice: Alyssa who has an amazing voice when she sings. Scoot over and listen for yourselves, she has several videos on her tumblr.
I think I’ve got two portraits left. This is Sally. She was a part of the first series as well, but since I’ve improved and well, she asked, here she is again.
Stef Gaines, Swedish comic book artiste. All those portraits of her and those who drew her made me want to try and do my own. No, I’ve never met her or really talked to her beside a few comments on her blog posts, so this could very well be a time to tune up the awkwardion.
This was supposed to be @dafeld on twitter. Things didn’t work out, it went wrong and then I managed to save it to this. I am ashamed and need to do better. So this is what failure feels like.
Gianna, if you want to flog me for this I understand. I feel like a failed. Sorry.
Edit: ok. The hair… Forgot about the short and red! But now a few hours later, I don’t think this is that bad.
This is @pussyloo at twitter, a person I know nothing at all about but she must have followed someone of the previously drawn twitterers.
First one of the day and with a tad too little warm up sketching beforehand: Maxwell. He also makes music and need help with his dream to issue a 7”, support!

Ephydriads was another challenge with only one photo to work from. Think I made the eyes too big but nevertheless, damn fun to draw. Thank you.
Andrea is a good example on why I ask people to tell me to draw them instead of asking around specific persons. For a chickenshit like me it’s an additional safety-net, because that way if you draw people you like you can play the “but you told me to!”1 card if they don’t like the result.
I think I’ll make one of the portraits I have left as a livestream tomorrow. (22:00 GMT+2, or 16 EST. The EST might be wrong, the GMT+2 won’t be because that’s where I am.)
1) It is a cheap and sad card to play but that’s the thing with most safety-nets.
Explorasaur has been on a roadtrip. As a person who goes on far too few roadtrips, it’s fun to read about others who actually do it. Especially people who find places like Grandpa’s Cheesebarn. Anyway, I kind of struggled with this and I did not really nail it — something’s off — so thank you. Challenges are good.
@nonsenseboy on Twitter. Someone I’ve actually met in flesh, even though it was only once. There’s a story about finding good reference photos of him — because I was stubborn not to ask, bad move even if I laughed like hell due to it — but I won’t share that here.
He’s a chef and from what I’ve heard, he makes a mean chili.

I guess I have to take responsibility for what I write in this blog, hope I don't make myself look like an ass too often.
