Best photo I took in January 2011. Karro drinking beer from a huge huge glass.
GPOYW — early morning with far too little sleep.
There’s something missing.
GPOY. The reception of today has been mixed. It hasn’t been bad as much as wrong. It’s a nice change so not really complaining. Well, ran out of the deluxe orange juice, that was a bad thing.
Random Café Guests.
My love for shallow depth of focus is one of the many things that make me unable to do stock photography. Lack of commercialness is the biggest one of course. Generic things without flaws makes me snooze.
Gusto.
Gusto; the best café in the whole world — I’m sure you think you can come up with a better one, but no, sadly you can’t becasue there isn’t anyone. Trust me on this — had moved a bit. The new location was a bit smaller but not as small as they once were and instead it’s in a better location as well as lots and lots of light from the windows. And they got a bathroom usable for the customers now.
I bought coffee beans there. Mocha Java from Haugaard. According to the label the taste is of “stable, blueberries, musk, and a hint towards chocolate.” I’m not sure about all of those but it was damn good.
Christmas? We’re not as amused as it might seem.
It’s quite a wind outside. Everything creaks and you can hear how it runs through the town in between the buildings. For being in such a hurry, it seem to linger far too long.
This is a photo of an egg. It has nothing to do with the wind outside.
Train station in dusk.

Had a coffee with these two yesterday and it was excellent. And on Saturday we saw some movies, the best one by far was “If…” — even if The Devil’s Backbone is damn good too — that I hadn’t seen in ages. So damn much funnier and better than I remembered it. Best weekend in a long time this.
Icelandic music today.
Nina in Skilla. Fiddles are cool.
