One of the most amazing music videos I’ve seen. The steampunk styling of it blows my mind.
The artist is Ben Lovett
Really cool steampunk-esque music video
So … pretty …
Really beautiful. I’d love to see this as a short instead f a music video.

It's pretty easy. Or you could use this to say something, I don't bite unless asked to.

Animated Short of the Day: “As long as anyone can remember, the coming of The Undertaker has meant the coming of death. Until one day the grim promise fails and tension builds as the God fearing townsfolk of Backwater wait for someone to die.”
The Backwater Gospel: A Bachelor film project from The Animation Workshop.

Holy shit. Fantastic.
I love this style! (Why can’t I animate?! Watch a making of too. Very impressed with how they used 3D as it felt very 2D animation to me.)
A Mystery: Why Can’t We Walk Straight? (by NPR)
A little science with your art this morning. Animation by Benjamin Arthur.
This makes me really want to be an animator. Curse you, limited amount of patience!
39 Degrees North: Christmas Card 2010 (by 39 Degrees North)
Nicholas Was, a Neil Gaiman poem that’s been animated.
Love the look and design. Why can’t there be features that look like this.
I agree 100% about this. Don’t know why there seems to be a fear of heavily stylized look in features. The opening sequence of Kung-Fu Panda is the only recent I can come up with, and that was only the opening.
Tom Fun Orchestra-Bottom of the River (by trunk animation)
Wonderful use of contrast and those silhouettes, man, they’re equally wonderful. Too bad about the whole going down under water though, I’d love to have it more focused on the owl and things at the dock. But nevermind, I can deal with animated water.
The Subway Time (by Dongzhen.Li)
I could if I’m lucky do storyboards to a movie, but I don’t think I have the patience or skills do to an animated short.
Thought of You (by Ryan J Woodward) Deliberate loose lines? Swoon like a motherfucker.
I have no idea how I could have missed this wintery short by Vera Brosgol & Jenn Kluska. Vera Bee is awesome, I’ve known that since… Flight vol 2. But still, missed this and needed A Bear to send the link. I’m so sorry.
Vera has a tumblr with a friend of hers too: fashion from old people.

I guess I have to take responsibility for what I write in this blog, hope I don't make myself look like an ass too often.
