The effect is that of someone who’s a slow reader except that I’m not. A bit slower than I used to be but the thing that lowers the reads per year is a restlessness. Not happy about it but it’s there and I need to accept that.

Anyway. I’ve just finished Charles de Lint’s Widdershins. Liked it a lot and it got me thinking about things of ourselves we leave behind as well as the road not taken but still follow along. It might not make sense to you but it does to me.
