The Band - It Makes No Difference.
The very sad love song that I couldn’t choose yesterday.
It makes no diff’rence
How far I go
Like a scar, the hurt will always show
And it makes no diff’rence
Who I meet
They’re just a face in the crowd on a dead-end streetRick Danko, one of the best soul/folk-singers ever. He deserved better after the Band split up.
To reblog the self is a sure sign of narcissism? Perhaps, but more people should listen to this damnit. Very appropriate today too. I don’t know why, but a few words have rattled around in the head all day: “I’m sorry.” There is no reason that I can think of, which makes me rather perplexed about the whole thing.
(I also noticed in my archive a Thea Gilmore song with zero plays. Zero. I cried a bit.)

This song matches how sad I feel. I was traumatized recently by some hooligans smashing our french door in the basement....
