Mekons — Last Dance

There are many songs on Fear & Whisky that just get to me. From the first lines in the opening song Chivalry “I was out late the other night / Fear and whiskey kept me going” to the closing cover of Lost Highway, it’s a mixture of hope and melancholia and humour. This one, Last Dance, hits me hard. I will not post the lyrics, it needs to be heard sung by Tom Greenhalgh.
