It’s not that big of a deal, but it just seems ridiculous to me for Tumblr to deny a portion of their users the ability to participate in the fun times. Come on. People can censor their internets on their own, they don’t need Tumblr’s help; if they do, they probably shouldn’t be on the internets in the first place.
Katie’s entire rant was good and I agree with every word, but this bit was the part that had me nodding furiously. The NSFW-tools should be that: a tool to help people make decisions on their own. Not used to limit or exclude from certain community functions.
