an awkward [reality] break

Q:Please describe, in great and loving detail, your favorite pair of socks.

They’re these big, dark grey wool socks. Just the right density so that the knitted holes are small enough that you can’t feel them with the toes. Unfortunately due to their thickness I can’t mismatch them but that doesn’t matter. They’re soft and warm and occasionally when it’s really cold I can wear thin socks (mismatched!) inside them! So two pairs at once without problem!
