Mekons — Club Mekon

Because you can’t listen to them too much, and the world in general seems to suffer from Mekons deficiency. Taken from the excellent album Mekons Rock’n’ Roll, their first for a big label so of course they had to make it into a concept album about how the music business sucks all life out of the art. This, the second song on the album, has Sally Timms on vocal. It might not say much to you but it should. Great fucking voice.

If you don’t have this one, you have to get it. Sure, listen to it first if you’re not sure but if you don’t like it there is a possibility that I will call you a cunt or a roadkilled cock. “A vague disclaimer is nobody’s friend.”
