When you can’t watch through the viewfinder, glasses is a nuisance. I always manage to obscure the eyes or get the light bounch around creating flares. Since I’m not a flash-fan I have to resort to paper-shields and switch the direction of the lamps — not always an easy thing, it’s harder to tilt a whole roof than you might imagine.
