
R.E.M. — Maps And Legends
Even though I as many others got sucked into R.E.M. with the Out of Time/Automatic For the People, the albums which I really love are those before that. I copied the Singles Collected to a tape and wore it out twice. (The walkman is sadly dead now.) And was their Unplugged show as good as I remember it? Don’t know. But anyway. Document and Fables are easily their best albums. Easily. Murmur third. Also easily. You don’t have to agree but then you’d be wrong. Sorry.
