Can someone explain to me why people run around in an oh-my-gosh-biggest-thing-ever hype about the Beatles remastered editions? Because I don’t get it. It’s not like their records have been hard to find before today either. It’s just a remastering, not anything really new. The Grateful Dead has been remastered for over twenty years. Grateful fucking Dead! And they were real hippies who didn’t care about recording the best sound and whatever. Shall we be rejoicing in twenty years when the Beatles is finally available in official digital format too?
