Merlin Mann talks about the process of doing creative work, and particularly how to abandon the quest for perfection, get off your butt and get started. Hosted by The Sound of Young America. (via)
I listened to this, as it was about a topic that’s intereresting and I was sure Merlin could pull it off and do something with it. Since then, I’ve been doing stuff instead of just thinking it.
This is what made me go out for a walk and photograph the cars after sundown. Adn today, in a best ever idea, I took a powernap and slept for three hours. Best do and not think I’ve done. Sure, that wasn’t really linked to creative stuff so it shouldn’t count. If you’re a purist. I’m not, I count the sleep. Loud. “One, two, three. Three hours.”
