Parks and Recreation deserves all the awards.

Here is why.
Parks is changing a lot of the typical sitcom fallbacks. A lot of shows have us laughing at the characters because their quirks lead to failure; Michael Scott is crazy, so we laugh when he crashes and burns. Liz Lemon is off-kilter, so we laugh when it gets her into trouble. But Parks isn’t a game of “Leslie Knope is optimistic so we laugh when...

SO far the weekend is a good one. Beer, friends, tv-shows, cookies, tea. Now trying to find something new to watch. That’s not going well.
Anosheh, the surprise of the week as I had no clue he was even in the country.
Hanna.
This is my host, Martin, and tonight he’s been pretty horrible with youtube and the stereo. Except now when he finally came to his senses with Hellsongs.

You could also fashion a giant drill to tunnel beneath the earth! c:
I love the idea of a big honking drill. Steam and stuff as it digs. However, the big problem is all the magma that I’m sure still resides inside the planet. Travelling through this will probably be hotter than the summers and that...
Got beer and good company, soon food. A+ if I were a grader, but I’m not so it’s just a very good evening.
Secret tumblr message that might be ignored by the wrong person:
Crush level rising. Stop that or move closer — using plane or an elaborate plate tectonic shift, don’t care which but the last would undoubtedly be the coolest. No, seriously. I mean this.

I guess I’m not the only one that feels this way. People that I’d love to be close to, live so far. Even friends that are within driving distance are still too far. You’d think us introverted folk could at least get a little bit of a break.
I agree. In theory, it’s not hard to get people to sit in the...

Doodling.
That’s awfully goth for the swinging ’60s, V, but what the hey, your voice makes me frissonner, I forgive you.
I know, I know, and Evey looks more like a rude girl. It would have been better had I actually done the colour scheme I saw in the head instead of going “bored now.”
Added: I had to google a dictionary for “frissonner.”...

Lelia Broussard – Satellite. The video doesn’t feature the adoring face paint that’s in her promo images for the album. Still… the music is what’s important.
See! I don’t only like morose we’re-all-gonna-die-songs!

It’s kind of annoying and typical when you realise that the people you like the most tend to be far away. It might also be a character flaw in the self — logic dictates that there should be at least one or three good people around here too. Somewhere. Hiding.

I have the cow socks on and I don’t know. They’re not mismatched in any way. All I can think of is “and now what?” I don’t have an answer to that.
Going to Gothenburg on Friday. Visiting friends, Romans and countrymen. I shall have a good weekend. Today it’s Tuesday though and still a few days away. And now what?

Alright, so I hope you’ve decided what you want to do with me. I learned Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. I picked 6 verses. Here is evidence of my attempt, mistakes included for your amusement.
The unfollow button is still in the usual place.
While I don’t think the song is all that, one’d be crazy to click the unfollow button just for something that’s hardly...

I wrote this two days ago: Why is it so hard to believe what others think of you when those things are good but so easy to believe what they think when those things are bad? and since then several people have asked me why. Why I feel that way. Why I have an obvious self worth issue. I’ll tell you…
Unlike Michele, I can’t pinpoint my similar problems to one incident. (You...

Occasionally I write emails. Today I wrote one with the subject “on cookies,” because I like that form of titles. This email contained this sentence: “Not the best cookies I’ve eaten, still good though. Got a new favourite emergency cookie!” I share this with you too because… well, it’s important. They’re big, cheap and look home-made even though...

Sleep didn’t come easy. I was afraid, seriously. Afraid for the dreams I can’t remember, and for all the thoughts that would open up and bury me if I laid down. The pre-sleep anxieties and the first wake up in the night are the worst for different reasons — even though I guess they’re interlinked. Both is about things you can’t hide. I’m sure you already know some of...
In hindsight — when I move my ass off the floor where I had parked and Xboxed four far too many hours is sort of wobbled — I should have eaten a bit more today. Got cookies though. A bowl of makeshift soup? I think that’s a good idea. Huuuuunger!

Aaron Sorkin at HBO? Oh. More minutes of dialogue per hour! B etter pick and chose casting! This is… I’ll be in my bunk with all the fantasies.
I hate how much I love Sorkin’s works.
Can we have Sorkin legally renamed Joss Whedon? I realize he’d still be a douche if I opted to watch his interviews, but I’d feel better while watching opening credits for his creations.

Today has been empty. A big void of “huh, look at that time go.”

Whatever the hell this is, it just blew my mind and I want to see it.

LOVE.
A very dynamic, intriguing trailer for an upcoming movie.
Soundtrack by Angels and Airwaves (Tom De Longe).
Really worths a look. Cheers!
I need to see this for the visuals alone. (Even though the plot seems intriguing as well.)

Yes! I got a cover to draw. In black and white and with the theme of short stories — which will be hard to come up with a suitable image for if I don’t go for something generic. It will not pay (it’s not that sort of work) but right now it keeps me from being bored. That’s a good thing. Not being bored.

I don’t think it’s healthy to become this upset about the Daily What’s inability to reblog each time they themselves get reblogged into my dashboard. Great start on not caring about what idiots do 2011.

GPOYW - words are worth more than an image edition. Nicklas. Bedhead. Scar on neck. Glasses tipping over slightly to the left. Dim, numb eyes. Tired smile. Food in mouth. Shoulders pressed forwards.

The word “why” has been on my mind a lot today. Why do I have to draw in that faux-cartoony style all the time? Why can’t I just pick one, realism or not? Why does the knee hurt today? Why did I have to wake up? The last one is not so seriously meant, but really, I’m not happy.
Don’t even want to think about how it would have been without the medication. Probably...

You always have good taste. You just choose to space it out with naps, and that’s for Sweden’s safety. Unrelated: I JUST GOT YOUR CORPUS CHRISTI DIALECT REFERENCE. HIGH-FIVE! My mind? Like a steel trap. Sharp as a tack. Smart as a whip. [Etc]

There’s this new social holabalo called Lookup.to and all I can think of is that it must be an inverted FlockedUp. That’s the impression I’ve got from their welcome screen and name anyway. They want me to sign in with my Facebook, but no fucking way. Their logo look as it it belonged on a toy instrument, complete with different coloured letters and a very ugly outline. I...
