Catbird Records: Unbunny — Black Strawberries 180g... →
There’s about 150 of them left, and the album is well worth the money. Pre-order now and give us nicer paper for the cover and such. Because that matters too.* *) Don’t agree? Well, you’re free to be in the wrong but know this: you’re wrong. No doubt.

electricgecko: A bit of yesterdays news, but I still can’t stop drooling over A Kiss from Tokyo by Kevin Dart. It’s sort of a trailer for a fictional movie accompanying the book Seductive Espionage: The World of Yuki 7, of which you can check out some spreads here. The smart spy look gets me every time and the overall attention for detail is top notch – down to the animated production logo...

This American Life #379: Return To The Scene Of... →
While I might get a few to listen if I mention Joss Whedon sings a tune in this episode, act one and three is the real deal and things you should listen to. The first is from Mike Birbiglia and how he was in a hit-and-run-accident with a drunk driver. It is really funny but ends with an awesome and beautiful realization from his part. The third act is Dan Savage and how he struggles with faith....

Thoughts about late night tumbling: fun since most people across the pond is awake but annoying since that means food things on the dashboard. Food things — like the delicious-looking peanut butter chocolate torte — which makes me hungry. Off to a late night snack…  Then fall asleep to a Firefly episode.

So, not only a new album after 35 bloody years, the Os Mutantes are touring as well. North Americas, you… I got no words, I too want to see and hear and experience. Need to hope for a European arc then. Insanely jealous.

It has shifted a bit. It’s harder to do stuff when in a negative flux, the last two days have been… Well, I’ve had worse. Of course I’ve had worse, quite a lot actually. I think it’s turning around now though, I awoke to the sound of massive rainfall outside the window. Seriously, thought it was going to flood parts of the area. It didn’t, but it was nice...

Watched The Sea Beast. Some kind of Sci-Fi Channel movie in that maneater-series. In company and beer, it was rather fun. So horrible cheap and stupid and all other things like that. After that Pineapple Express which was more excellent in a proper way. Now I too want to make septic tanks for playgrounds.

“You choose your friends, not your family.” This is crap. Both are things that just happen. At least to me, I’ve never heard of anyone say stuff like “I’m gonna be that persons friend.” Friendships grow from accidents, from chance or even carelessness about the self. That’s even more random than genes. Family, if you don’t like them, is fairly easy...

Working on a mix-cd. I’d lie if I said it was close to finished, but that’s ok. That means I won’t die from Sunday boredness. [18] Good song but noit a favorite by an artist/group I adore turned out to be far far harder than [09] A song you can associate to Nicolas Cage but not necessary in an obvious way. I’d spoil the choices there but I think the person after me in the...

So this vocally-challanged person — seriously, his name has no vocals — keeps mailing me with things such as “She likes it big”. Why? Get with the program, if she likes “it” big there’s really no need to do a nudge nudge-thing on me. The only big thing I got is my right eye. That one always looks huge no matter what the angle. Unlike the other body parts. NBow stop...

Ooops. My flickr pro account expires on Tuesday. That was not well-timed at all. Oh well, this will be a couple of interesting weeks considering that I had to borrow from hermano for that Unbunny vinyl (so worth it though).

“If it’s cool or interesting, you won’t miss it. Even with fewer feeds.”
– Brent Simmons argues for fewer feed subscriptions. And he writes a feed reader for a living. This should tell you something. (via marco) I do not agree at all. If it’s a meme, sure. Or if it’s about computers, Internet or movies — then it will probably show up everywhere in due time....

For some reason I can’t really fathom, my computer suddenly stopped turning of the speakers when I plug in headphones.  I don’t use headphones that often though, and I don’t really dare to look into this. The same time as this happened, it fixed another little “glitch” that was far more annoying. Before I had to open the volume mixer and switch between...

It’s odd and I don’t thinkt this is how it should be, because getting some sort of writer’s block after spending a lot of time with friends is rather silly. Especially since that’s when the brain gets stimuli and you get things to write about. But no. My silly brain needs to be silly and do things the wrong way. Anyways. The sun is ain a bit of a hiding, the wind blows and...

This gives flashbacks to the first incarnation of Carbonated Ink, back when I did extensive comics blogging. I miss that sometimes so it’s nice when something like this happen that forces me to do it again. The slaves of Mickey Eye, by Grant Morrison and Cameron Stewart. Grant took the 52-comic at DC for hostage in order to force them into allowing him to make this and the third part, yet...
